Christos Mylonopoulos, Professor of Criminal Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Salzburg), Founder and President of the European and International Criminal Law Institute (Athens), Member of the Scientific Committee of the Greek Parliament.

Studies: 1972-1977: Law (Univ. of Athens), 1977-1980: PhD (University of Saarbrücken), 1985-1987: Research Fellow at the Institute of Criminal Studies of the University of Munich-Germany.
Scholarships: 1977-1979: DAAD, 1985-1987: Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung. 1981: Eduard Martin Award, 1988: Greek Criminal Lawyers Award.

1991-1993: Visiting Professor Univ. of Munich. Since 1996: Full Professor, University of Athens. Lectures in Germany, China, Hungary, Italy, Turkey etc.

Publications: 12 major books and approx. 70 papers in Greek, German and English language. Works translated into many foreign languages (Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Turkish, etc.). 35 years of practice as criminal lawyer.
