Shaker Moussa, is a Lecturer of Modern Greek Literature at the School of Languages and Translation of Al Azhar University, Cairo. He has a degree in Ancient European Languages from the Al Azhar University and a Master s Degree in Modern Greek Literature from the University of Athens.
He obtained his is PHD degree from the University of Athens. The topic thesis was “The image of Arabs in the Greek Egyptiot literature”.
Currently he is teaching Greek Litterature and Comparative Studies at Al Azhar University.
He is a member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs at the Awkaf Ministry of Egypt and of the Translation Center of Al Azhar. He has published extensively in literary reviews and has translated several literary works and essays from Greek to Arabic and vice versa. He speaks Greek, Italian and English.
