Marie-Dominique Nenna, Director of Research, French National Research Center (CNRS), Director of Centre d'Études Alexandrines, Egypt. Born in 1962 in Paris was educated in Paris (École Normale Supérieure and Paris IV Sorbonne University). She is Agrégée de Lettres Classiques and ancient Member and Librarian of the French School of Archaeology at Athens (1987-1994). PhD (1992) and Habilitation à diriger des recherches doctorales (2002) both at Paris IV Sorbonne University. Since 1994, full-time researcher at the CNRS in Research Laboratory HiSoMA, Maison de l’Orient et de la Méditerranée, Lyons. Director of Research since 2009, she has been sharing her time of research between France, Greece (École Française d’Athènes) and Egypt (Centre d’Études Alexandrines). She is since 1/07/2015 Director of the Centre d’Etudes Alexandrines (USR 3134 of CNRS) in Alexandria.
