THE SPEAKERS
Dr. Pericles S. Vallianos
Dr. Pericles S. Vallianos, received his B.A. from Wesleyan University and his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Brandeis University.
His specialization was in the history of ideas with a doctoral thesis on Hegel’s social and economic thought. He taught philosophy first at Hellenic College in Boston and upon his return to Greece at the American College of Greece. He is currently Emeritus Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Athens. Some of the articles and books he has authored are the following:
